Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, Danyol Jaye is a multi-threat performer and personality with over 400k followers across social media. Danyol has wowed audiences as a singer, actor, online personality, radio host, writer, and public speaker for over 15 years. Defining his vocal stylings with rich tone, incredible range and heartfelt lyrics, Danyol’s debut singles Get Out and Dreamers had fans craving more.

 

Danyol’s voice caught the attention of the likes of Grammy award winning duo Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis as well as Grammy Award winning writer, Dianne Warren. Sharing stages with artists such as Janet Jackson, LL Cool J, and Brian McKnight, Danyol became the voice to notice. With a new project soon to come, his latest single I’m Ready has been filling the ears of listeners all over the world.

 

As an actor and writer, Danyol’s talents gained him notoriety after performing to a sold out theatre in his one-man show, Closed Mouths Can’t Sing: A Story of Abuse & Self Discovery. Masterfully embodying over eight different characters, Danyol told a story of sexual abuse and survival that left audiences breathless and amazed.

 

While his personality continues to solidify his brand as a social media influencer, providing perspectives on entertainment news, reality TV reviews, and opinions on social justice issues, Danyol is also an advocate for Black and Brown LGBTQIA+ communities as well as communities living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. His passion for education and ridding communities of ill-informed, stigmatic, and micro-aggressive jargon, fuel his desire to publically (and unapologetically) address the systems that continue to oppress marginalized demographics.
