Puddins' I don't know what to say! Things are a mess and I'm really trying to figure out how a whole grown ass man, eligible for AARP, is out here living untruths and trying to convince the world that you don't know this woman...

Just in case your lost, Shauna Brooks - a trans model - recently outed rapper and reality tv persona, Ray Benzino (aka Raymond Leon Scott) about a secret relationship they were in. According to The Shade Room, Brooks was no longer interested in keeping their "love" a secret, but Ray Ray was vehemently opposed to coming out for what we can assume are "obvious reasons". Now Ray Ray OBVIOUSLY knows this girl! However, in a sit down with singer/songwriter and Real Housewives of Atlanta alumni, Kandi Burruss, in which she asked ALL the right questions, he claims that this entire thing is a setup! That the messages - he thought they were texts not an actual recording - were "photoshopped". Even after Kandi tells him that these are voice recordings, he doubles down on the setup allegation.

Now, I'm not saying that someone can't get a hold of some video clips and pro-tools the shit out of it and make it sound like one cohesive conversation...but in Shauna's case, the question would be WHY? Albeit, it's not Ray Ray's delusional ego that bothers me most, what bother's me is that instead of living in the truth of your attraction - or even if he REALLY isn't trans attracted - he's also not secure enough not to be a douche bag! Gaye Magazine posted this clip of some of the dispariging things Benny Boy had to say...take a listen to this shit!

As I do not agree with outing someone - being that you never know how many tentacles an action like that will have regarding the hurt to folks other than the intended party - I also don't like the fact that Cis-Het men want to make trans women the fault of THEIR attraction! To disrespect this woman and refer to her as "he" because you're alleged business is now out in the public is deplorable. You want to plead your case? You want to combat the allegation? Do it without being disrespectful! Do it without creating more violent jargon that gets trans folks killed! And in the event that ALL of what Shauna has exposed is true...Man the fuck up and stand in your truth! More than half the people that you're trying to keep a façade up for have just as many secrets of the same kind - if not more!!! I feel like we are in this odd paradox where as much as we move the needle forward the wheel of history comes back around to the same bigoted, racist, prejudiced, fearful, and violently degrading time as generation's past. It's 2022!!! Are we still hiding who we're attracted to? For what? For FUCK what?!
