Tami Roman To Host New VH1 Series: Unfaithful [Video]

Tami Roman has long been reality tv royalty! From her debut on MTV's The Real World in 1993 to her nine year run on VH1's hit show Basketball Wives, she has also been making moves as an actress, producer, and business woman. Her latest run on The Miss Pat Show has garnered her great success and even more recognition. Although, Tami has been acting upwards of 20 years, her most recognition came while being on the Basketball Wives platform.

Much of the tension during her run on the show was due to the constant negativity behind edited narratives that labeled Roman as a bully. Contentions with fellow castmate, Evelyn Lozada, was always a highly volatile storyline that fans hated to love and loved to hate. During an interview with singer Keisha Cole, Tami revealed that she left the franchise - in large part - to discovering that the sisterhood she thought she had with some of the ladies wasn't quite the same. People had chosen a side and was no longer acting in an equitable fashion.

This, of course, was in reference to the long lasting friendship between Roman and Executive Producer of the show, Shaunie O'Neal. Fans also felt that Shaunie often left Tami on the sidelines in an effort to support and enrich friendship with long time bestie, Evelyne Lozada. However, since leaving the show, Tami has had great success starring in several drama and sitcom series as well as a plethora of movies. Basketball Wives fans everywhere desperately wanted to see Tami return to the franchise, but what a better way to return to a network than with your own damn show?!
